Call in tonight to ask City officials about Exide

The City of Frisco’s Town Hall meeting set for tonight not only will give residents the opportunity to hear staff updates about progress on the Exide plant and find out more about the role Exide plays in the City’s legislative agenda, but also – for the first time – to call in and ask questions about the future of Frisco and the lead smelter.

The meeting, which begins at 7 p.m., will be held in the City Hall council chambers at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, located at 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard. The agenda for the first hour of the meetings includes a presentation on Exide.

At 8 p.m., Frisco residents who are not able to make the meeting will still have the opportunity to pose questions – via telephone. If you are a Frisco citizen, then you can dial 1-888-886-6603, ext. 16342# to join in the meeting from any location. If you are a registered voter in Frisco, you will receive a phone call inviting you to join the meeting.

If you can’t make the Town Hall meeting to learn more about Exide and ask your questions in person, then get you list of questions ready and make sure to dial in at 8 p.m.!
