Make plans now to attend to find out more, and also to let the Mayor and City Council hear your voice and concerns about Exide’s lead smelter that sits in the heart of Frisco and still is operating in violation of federal safe air laws. You can find the complete City Council meeting agenda here, and the Exide-related items are listed below. The Council’s Closed Session begins at 5:30 p.m. The Regular Session should start close to 6:30 p.m., and Citizen input is scheduled to begin at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Item A ii – Receive legal advice from City Attorney concerning legal issues regarding Exide and lead issues.
ITEM #26 – Consider and act upon whether to direct staff to submit a written notice of appeal on behalf of the City Council to Development Services, pursuant to Subsection 6.19 of the Zoning Ordinance and/or Section 4.02 of the Subdivision Ordinance, regarding action taken by the Planning and Zoning Commission on any site plan or plat. Any written notice of appeal must be submitted to Development Services.
