REGARDING PROJECTS RELATED TO PROPOSED MASTER SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
Special called meetings of the Frisco City Council, the Frisco Economic Development Corporation (FEDC) and the Frisco Community Development Corporation (FCDC) will be held simultaneously this Monday, June 4, to consider and vote on the proposed Master Settlement Agreement between Frisco and Exide. The proposed agreement is by and among Exide Technologies, the City of Frisco, the FEDC and the FCDC.
All three meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. You can find specific information about each meeting and links to related agendas below.
Also, mark you calendars now and plan to attend the Public Hearing about the proposed Master Settlement Agreement and related projects on Thusday, June 21. You can download and read more information about it above.
Frisco City Council Meeting
Frisco City Council Chambers
The meeting will start in Closed Session for the Mayor and City Council to hear legal advice regarding the proposed Master Settlement Agreement by and among Exide Technologies, the City of Frisco, Texas, the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and the Frisco Community Development Corporation.
The Mayor and City Council also will get legal advice regarding the City Council approving the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and the Frisco Community Development Corporation signing the Master Agreement, performing the obligations outlined in the Agreement and expending funds to perform the obligations.
The City Council then will go into Regular Session – which is open to the public – to:
- Consider and act upon approval of the Master Settlement Agreement and the Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the Agreement
- Consider and act upon approval of the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and Frisco Community Development Corporation to execute the Agreement
- Consider and act upon approval of the expenditure of funds by the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and the Frisco Community Development Corporation to execute and perform the obligations stated in the agreement.

Frisco City Hall – Conference Room 5-A
The FEDC will open its meeting in Closed Session to receive legal advice regarding the proposed Master Settlement Agreement and reimbursement of associated costs.
It then will reconvene in Regular Session – which is open to the public – to:
- Consider and act upon approval of the proposed Master Settlement Agreement and the Resolution approving the president of the FEDC to execute the agreement.
- Consider and act upon adoption of the Resolution expressing the FEDC’s official intent to reimburse costs of the proposed Master Settlement Agreement.

It then will reconvene in Regular Session – which is open to the public – to:
- Consider and act upon approval of the Master Settlement Agreement and the Resolution authorizing the Operations Manager to execute the Agreement.
- Consider and act upon adoption of Resolution expressing FCDC’s official intent to reimburse costs of proposed Master Settlement Agreement.
- Consider and act upon Resolution directing publication of notice of and notice of public meeting regarding the proposed Master Settlement Agreement.
